PSL Lusitanos

We are passionate about the majestic and legendary Lusitanos, known as The Horse of Kings! Pure Sangue Lusitanos are superior riding horses. A strong classical revival in the equestrian world has re-established interest in America in this old Iberian breed. Today, Lusitanos are proven contenders in international dressage competition. Originating in Portugal and then Brazil, Lusitanos are imported and now bred in America. They are noble and kind, full of beauty and action. Iberian horses are referred to as Baroque because the Baroque Period (1650-1750) was the beginning of classical, artistic horsemanship, of which the Iberian breeds were foundational.
